The Secret Service can no longer afford to pay hundreds of agents it needs to carry out an expanded protective mission.
Federally mandated limits set by congress meant to pay the secret service for the entire year have been exceeded after only 6 months, and without congressional intervention, the secret service can't even pay it's agents for work they've already done.
