NICEST Car Horn Ever- DIY

This horn is SO courteous my car was granted Canadian citizenship yesterday.

I like it.

In the situations where I would use my horn to avoid an accident, I'm usually too busy driving to take a hand off the wheel and sound the horn. If someone on the freeway is merging into my lane and about to collide with me, it seems I'm much better of braking and actively avoiding the collision myself rather than blowing my horn and counting on the other car to stop merging.

In my experience, aside from "excuse me the light is green", all horns actually communicate is "fuck you." For many those two are also the same thing. Personally, I don't have enough emotional investment in other drivers to want to swear at them with my horn.

Motor boy gets it wrong on at least two counts:

1) There is absolutely no reason to try to be nice to someone who is texting while in control of a motor vehicle -- they are endangering everyone around them and richly deserve social opprobrium.

2) Teenagers, like old ladies in walkers, have the fucking right of way in the crosswalk, and are in no way obligated to go as fast as some asshole driver wants them to.

"Right of way" doesn't mean the same thing as "Right to be a douche"

I see a lot of drivers that seem to think that, if they cede the right of way to a pedestrian as required by law it's some kind of personal favor, and the lowly pedestrian should tug his forelock, say "thank you baas", and run.

Bullshit.

I see a lot of pedestrians that think that because they have the right of way that they can stop in front of cars so that they can play a game of Parcheesi, finish a text, or maybe just enjoy the sweet smell of exhaust while they idle on by. When I'm crossing the street I do my best to get across as quickly as I can, it would be nice if others showed the same courtesy.

In my world, we call the color of the sky "blue".
