Master Wooden Boat Builder finishes off his precision repair

Here, he finishes off the bow of the boat. It's a beautiful piece of work, on a wooden boat--as though it was a living sculpture.

Except for the use of the power planer, which speeds up the work, I assume it's been done this way for hundreds of years, since the era of wooden boats, through the age of sail, and up to today.

Beautiful to watch.
