I ripped a friend's White Zombie CD back in college and one of the tracks skipped a couple of times during the process. I grew accustomed to listening to it that way, and from then on, I always found it strange when the version on the radio didn't sound the same.

Yeah, I think the CD your version was ripped from was probably scratched or something. Ha!
