Not to be a curmudgeon, but this is just slowed-down broadcast footage (the Youtube description says as much). There's no information here that you don't get from watching it in real time. I was hoping this was shot with a 1000fps camera or something.

You may find the videos of Hexapong a little more interesting. Hexapong has 8 different games, 3 different net configuations and can accommodate 2, 3, 4 or 6 players at one time depending on the game played.
Hexapong is NOT ping pong and is NOT Table Tennis. While the recreational players have no problem on this table the Table Tennis Elite are only comfortable on a traditional table and only very few get out of their comfort zone to try Hexapong.

This semester I'm taking fifth year Japanese (the highest level they offer here), a course where we read classic Chinese novels in English (stuff like "The Monkey King" and "The Water Margin"), an intro level Economics class (lol filler course), and a course on East Asian Humanities...whatever that one means. Looks like a decently busy semester, but hopefully I'll be able to be more active on here. Congrats on the diamond, by the way. I'm sorry I didn't give you props when it actually happened.

There is a thing on the camera called a zoom. The cameraman obviously isn't aware of this. All they had to do was zoom out and the rest of us wouldn't have to suffer with table-tennis syndrome.

I have read that this was real, but it was an exhibition match. Not sure how true that is though. But in that case, they are playing to look good not playing to win .

That is so lame.
I don't find it fun or cool almost at all.
To play in the way they're doing in the video the traditional rectangular table is obviously better . Yeah , maybe not to play 3vs.3 (I'm not a big fan of doubles , let alone 3 players for side).
Though that circular table would be good for a trivial version of table tennis you play in many players conterporary , running around the table(we did it anti-clockwise). It's kind of childish , but with that table it would be perfect (to begin , more safe : I can remeber crashing my leg on the angle while trying to run fast and be on position ) .

Up-vote for the clips I haven't seen before that were really good: cats and table tennis, cat in a fishbowl, and super yard guarding attack cat.
