He invented over 300 uses for the peanut along w/ the soybean, sweet potatoes and pecans. Guess one would need to know a bit about "cultivating" those raw materials not to mention a hell alot of science to utilize them.
A plow? How about Henry Blair that invented the mechanical seed planter and corn harvester over 150 years ago.
