Are you a Sweeney fan too?

There is actually a lot to like about Burton's Sweeney, but he completely miscast the two leads. Depp and HBC are way to small, pretty, soft, young and fashionable to play Sweeney and Lovitt.

Hey, Sweeney Floyd is here to entertain, not aggavate! Tag removed, no problem. In fact, I didn't bother to see the movie because I heard it was gutted. Can't believe they left this out.

As a Sweeney super fan, I am compelled to remove the Burton tag, as Burton removed both the industrial steam whistle and the narrative songs (of which this is one) from his adaptation (which I liked BTW), but I won't because removing tags and/or channels is just plain assholish.

Julia Sweeney is probably a wonderful person, but seriously, with that voice, I have trouble with a 2-minute interview

You sifted a video of a Sam Harris speech at the AAI a few months ago. Julia Sweeney's intro, lasting around four minutes, felt like eternity compared to the following 35 minute speech of Harris.

The point of aforementioned speech was a rather interesting one as well, maybe you might want to give it another shot: http://www.videosift.com/video/Sam-Harris-about-Atheism

Christopher Hitchens' speech at the very same event was of a different kind entirely, but interesting nonetheless. Might be worth sifting ...

The first speaker, apparently Julia Sweeney, is incredibly annoying and Dawkins isn't really doing anything other than introduce Dan Dennet, who is quite interesting in this

Uh, yeah, that pretty much sums up my description right there under the video

Panorama: Scientology and Me

Man, Juilette Lewis too? Scientology=instant loss of respect.

I've always wondered how they get to these celebs, perhaps they hire 4 or 5 people to ruin the lives of the paparazzi or something.

At any rate, anything that gets their tactics exposed like this deserves respect. Thank you, John Sweeney.

BBC Reporter argument with Scientology Rep. (BBC Report)

In all fairness to him, they'd been following him and telling him he was a bad person since he first arrived in the country. Tommy Davis is a nutcase, rose his voice first, it was only so long till John Sweeney cracked.
