You're right about that, "you won't end up in a combat zone" stuff not being believable these days, but there were many people who signed up in the 90's who never expected combat and most didn't; the people who were unfortunate enough to sign up shortly before it all started, though, really can get snookered by smooth-talking recruiters. Damn! Watching this documentary it just kept getting better and better... Tom Metzger sings kareoke, then we find out his agent/manager used to deal coke with Escobar, corn on the cob and snooker with skinheads, a sloppy abassadorial pub-crawl in TJ... oh man, it just kept getting crazier... all in all I think the mom who is raising her girls to become skinhead teeny-boppers is the scariest... half nazi, half psycho-stage parent... totally scary.

German director WERNER HERZOG was shot by a crazed fan during a recent interview with the BBC.

The 63-year-old was chatting with movie journalist MARK KERMODE about his new documentary GRIZZLY MAN, when a sniper opened fire with an air rifle.

Kermode explains, "I thought a firecracker had gone off.

"Herzog, as if it was the most normal thing in the world, said, 'Oh, someone is shooting at us. We must go.'

"He had a bruise the size of a snooker ball, with a hole in. He just carried on with the interview while bleeding quietly in his boxer shorts."

An unrepentant Herzog insisted, "It was not a significant bullet. I am not afraid."

They had O'Sullivan on Top Gear a while ago... he was able to do a full game of snooker in less time than it took a professional racing driver go around the test track out back (and the driver was driving O'Sullivan's car).

untill recently almost everyone in england only had 4 tv chanels and yet so mutch time wud be dedocated to realy tedouse to watch sport. dont get me wrong i love playing these sports but watching them on tv. u can feal u brain driping out of your nose
