JackieOh:Every crime against person(s) requires two- the criminal and the victim- each has a part to play and is to some lesser or greater extent therefore responsible for the outcome. Then, there are the observers- people who know both the victims and the criminals, but prefer not to get involved...of course the Jews complained and tried to get help from the Allies...but the Allies were blind eye to the holocaust. Genocide has occurred throughout history, yet we always seem surprised when we finally see the result and how bad it was. Did any civilized people care about the genocide in Rwanda in the 90s? Did the news even cover the story- not until the number of bodies floating in the river out of the country became pretty large- and 3 million were dead.

As far as the rest of you, arguing Bush as the devil, that's just what is intended. The whole Demo/Republican backbiting inability to accomplish anything is orchestrated as a ruse to keep our attention while the real nasty stuff is going on behind it. Did you ever stop to wonder what was really going on during the 18 months the Clinton BJs were top news item every day? Must have been something more important than that...yet we didn't hear about it. Google "north american union' and see what comes up- why hasn't this been in the news? If you want to know a little about how long the war against the Constitution has gone on just Google "Freedom to Fascism" and watch the Aaron Russo documentary- and watch it all- it covers a lot of ground- it should scare you sh**less.

Despite factual errors, wish I'd see any history or government teacher in my school district with as much energy...Most seem RIP (retired in place).

Lastly, how far will it have to go before we do something about it? Well the last act curtain is rising, and I am not seeing any movement or even recognition of any problem yet. We're too busy watching sports & Oprah.

What people miss is that both democrats and republicans have sold out the United States, NAFTA, GATT, WTO, World Bank anyone? Kerry, Bush, there is no difference in where we are today and where we would be. Kerry probably set this up to make the election closer so that it will be plausible for another stolen election so that business as usual can continue. Until they stand behind removing the creation of money from the Federal Reserve, a private corporation that prints our money and then rents it back to us, no politician is a patriot. I only know of 2 who advocate returning to Congress the interest-free, constitutional right to print money, Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul. This should be the litmus test of every politician and every would-be public servant: the elimination of the Federal Reserve (which is as 'government' as Federal Express). In late July 2006, the Kurdish Regional Government in Northern Iraq commenced running the television ad campaign again in both the United States and the UK. The campaign is "aimed at attracting potential US and British investors to the region," the Turkish online publication Hürriyet reported July 27, 2006.
The US public relations firm Russo Marsh & Rogers "is responsible for the ads, which were put together in coordination with the Northern Iraqi Kurdish led government."
Russo Marsh & Rogers also "founded the 'Stop Michael Moore' campaign to discredit the film Fahrenheit 9/11 and a group called 'Move America Forward', which has brought parents of dead soldiers to be counter-protesters at peace demonstrations," Aaron Glantz wrote July 31, 2006, for Inter Press News Service.
"The firm has also brought right-wing talk-show hosts to Iraq" on a "Truth Tour" "to tell 'the good news that the old-line liberal news media won't tell you about'," Glantz wrote.

@Krupo - cheers for the links, the NYT article was an interesting read. Kind of what you'd expect from a 'pillar of the establishment' like the Gray Lady, though. It's interesting to note that most of Russo's critics attack his assertions regarding the 16th Amendment, using court rulings to bolster their arguments, rather than his claims about the Fed.

Hopefully this film will stir up some informed debate. We'll see.

@pickleking: yes, she is! she's a thoroughly annoying bint. Exactly the sort of interviewer you would expect on the 'Conscious Media Network' - it would have been interesting to see Russo go up against someone who didn't share his views and see how well he presents his case.

Russo makes a lot of sense here - it's hard to dispute the fact that America's government is controlled by and for corporate interests.

The lady interviewer is kinda' annoying, though.
