Trailer for Steven Soderbergh's "Bubble"
The music is from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. Now I have to listen to the whole thing.
Linz (Member Profile)
Hi. Just thought you might be interested to hear The Killers covering the song:

In reply to this comment by Linz:
I've always loved this song, but finally seeing the video actually makes me like it a little less. That's just not how it looks in my head!
It would rock if they just used that montage from Empire records.
Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet
The Killers cover this song on their new album, Sawdust.
It seems Brandon Flowers isn't familiar with the term "street suss" as in his version he says "sings the streets a serenade."
[edit]
Here's The Killers' version.
Lost In Translation... LITERALLY
Romeo and Juliet (from Act 2)
"But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,
Who is already sick and pale with grief,"
Now given the above Babelfish treatment...
"But which light tenderly breaks over there the window?
It is is, and Juliet is the sun.
To emerge just, sun and to kill the envieuse moon
Which is already sick with pale and to suffer."
Chanel Ad with Nicole Kidman
There is a reason it looks like a movie... because it was directed by none other than Aussie film director Baz Luhrmann (Strictly Ballroom, Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge)! Just be sure to change the spelling error in your title (Chanel - one N, not two).
Blue Oyster Cult: Don't Fear the Reaper
Don't know why, but never really liked this song.....the lyrics were just tooooooo hokey....that Romeo and Juliet shit....these guys really could not write songs that well.......catchy tune you say??? Overplayed says the muse, overhyped and overplayed.....(Goddamn that choggies' a cynical hard to please bastard!!)
Cult Movie Trailer: Barbarella (1968)
Milo O'Shea? From Romeo and Juliet?
Jane Fonda was hot. I must agree.
