I've visited my fair share of countries, and the US infrastructure is definitely NOT like a developing country's. You may not have decent rail, but there are alternatives for affordable and fast transportation.

To me, having a "developing country's" infrastructure involves being forced to drive on potholed roads or ride uncomfortable trains because you're given no alternative.

Anyway, his point about high speed rail is obvious to anyone who's even been to Europe. For trips under 500 km, I'd much rather travel by high speed rail -- it's cheaper and often quicker than flying once you account for the time wasted waiting for the flight and on airport security.

EDD,I saw the cubes but since nothing was actually being done with them, its hard to attribute it to any meme. In my mind, the most coolest thing ive seen done with rubiks cubes in the past years, are the amature made cube solvers made with webcams and basic robotics. As for the light sabers, the 2 nerd duelist are ryan vs dorkman. They made 2 videos consisting of light saber duals, reproducing some high level special effects like terrain impacts and sparks. Its possible to attribute the light saber effect on lot of other things in the videos due to the gauntlet of HOW TO videos on making your own light saber effects in movies.

Weezers is pretty much a years worth of 4chans /flash board condensed into a video. And of course both BNL and weezers song itself sucks.. so yea.. their trying tp ride hype trains that are not their own.

Once a person is in a city there are good alternatives. Subways, taxi, buses, ect...The problem is getting to the citys - for hundreds of thousands,if not millions, of commuters eveyday. While everyone can agree conceptually on the term "intelligent design" the fact remains that some designs are not so intelligent in the long run. Many people advacate building more trains but are not aware of the cost benifits vs. new roads to ease congestion. Again, here in the State of Connecticut, USA, it costs 47% of the state transportation annual budget for mass transit yet only 4% of the population use it. The roads are falling apart while the rich fokes in Fairfield county ride the trains to work in NYC at a subsidised (reduced) rate. And it will only get worse as the population increases. If the Government does not build new roads and expand existing roads there is no way congestion is going to ease up.

Probably my favorite cinematic fight sequence ever, not only because I'm a comic book geek, but because I used to ride those trains almost every day.
