Ever Notice Nathan Fillion in Saving Private Ryan?

Alternate 'Return of the Jedi' ending - Misjudged Effects

>> ^Sagemind:

Since I saw this the first time in theaters when I was a kid, This was my first thought - I mean, the death Star II was pretty big - It couldn't all burn up in the outer atmosphere. Some of it had to land on nearby systems right!?

Actually the biggest problem is that they destroyed the power regulator for the station. The station uses a Type II artificial singularity device to power the core and the laser array (the "Death Ray").

The biggest problem is the power overload blew up the station which means the containment system for the power system failed. The artificial singularity slowly, due to gravity, fell to the core of the planet and devoured it. Later on it devoured the star for the system and then eventually the system.

But, don't worry Admiral Anthony "Ackbar" Hayward said it's all taken care of and he said at a press conference a month later that quote, "We'reeeeddbbb ssoohhoorrrrhhheeeee.".

The reason why I submitted the longer clip was that I saw jabba the Hutt and scenes from the return of the Jedi in the longer clip. The shorter clip has just astronauts. The long video has stuff from the movie - that's why I have the 'Leia approves' in the title

Hmm. I see your point, and it was my bad in not noticing that the times were different. I can never remember what the best call is for potential dupes like this - where the time differs, but the intention/message of the clip remains the same. What do others think? Perhaps it needs a discussion? In the meantime, I'll call notdupe

However, this is the whole song, and the other is a 1 minute 39 second clip. So technicall tyey are not dupes (I didn't notice the other submission when I submitted mine).

allso its not evan that remacable , i bet they would cheer over annything star wars related , and i bet a good propotoin of those people only like it over other things because its popular rather than its intrinsic value.

showing your enjoyment in a way thats detremental to the exsperance of something for yorself and other people makes no sense.

"This is the kind of movie we've come to expect in the Star Wars series."
Ah, if only that had continued to be true after Jedi.

It baffles me how bad the prequels are in comparison. I would love to find out what was different this time around and just what went wrong.

Been a fan of Star Wars and women since I was very, very young. This is *not* the way to mix the two. I can't think of any reason I'd want to see C-3PO or Darth Vader do a strip tease. Ugh.

Also, why are people so fascinated with the Princess Leia bikini from Return of the Jedi? She was so much more sexy in that white dress when Luke found her on the Death Star. grumble grumble.
