I watched the inauguration in a packed theater in my home town and it was an incredible experience for someone who's lost faith in his fellow Americans over the past 8 years.

I don't think so at all Seeing this makes me more and more angry with our leadership. It's stuff like this that makes me think about trying to gather an army and march on D.C. and retake the capital for the people. In my eyes this kind of evasion/lying/corruption/incompetence almost amounts to treason. I almost envy the Chinese for executing some corrupt officials...even if they're not the top of the chain and it's somewhat for show.

I have a good nose for fakes, and I don't think this one is. Not in the sense that there is any CG involved anyway. Just lots and lots of retakes and smart editing.

Sweden has extremely restrictive gun laws and you'd be VERY hard pressed to find anyone with anything other than a hunting rifle, which you need to pass a thorough background check for as well as getting and continuously retaking a license.
I personally have never held a gun, nor do I ever wish to do so. I won't pretend to know the best course of action in the US concerning this issue, but as an idea to give you a new perspective to this apparently hot potatoe, wouldn't you save lots of trouble with these incidents by just shutting down all your colleges and instead holding your courses over the internet, thus saving people the trouble of leaving their homes and putting themselves in danger of being gunned down and/or having to gun down someone else? Perhaps that would be preferable to equipping everyone with weapons.
