Imagine them attending a Remembrance Day ceremony, walking up to a Canadian war veteran, and spitting in his face. Oh, the laughter!

Children. I can understand children being unable to put a face on the people they insult and slander to this degree, but grown adults? What kind of a human being can do that?

On the flip side of the RCMP side of things, if you want to see our soldier's pride, just show up on Remembrance Day. Many of our soldiers are so decorated, you'd be surprised.

I know Obama being commander-in-chief probably changes, or at least confounds, all the rules, but that marine looks very shocked.


Its not uncommon for politicians or high brass to want to chat with catafalque members, but it doesn't happen a lot, thus the surprise on the guards face.

Ive also had one of my guard's pass out in the middle of a remembrance day ceremony, he was dragged off, another picked up his rifle and resumed his place.

Its just military drill, to intentionally break form without a good reason is about the only time you would get a slap on the wrist, otherwise its no big deal. If the pres wants to shake your hand, you shake his hand.

Watched this from beginning to end. It gets quite chilling near the middle when they start revealing how matter-of-fact he and his lieutenants are about the deaths of millions.

A fitting upvote considering how close to Remembrance Day it is.
