Hungover Rock Climber

TheFreak says...

>> ^ForgedReality:
The only problem I see here is qualm's outright accusation, like he's constantly on the lookout for stuff like that. There is a term for people like that, which I can't recall at the moment, but essentially, it amounts to someone, who he himself is a racist, by expecting it, and projecting it onto others, as if perpetually fearful of it. As a result, they attack first, often incorrectly accusing others.

Holy cow! There's a single word that sums up all that?

There's a word I can't remember but it means that feeling of amazement you have when someone tells you something completely surprising and it really intrigues you but at the same time you're a little doubtful but you're thinking, "hey, why would he lie about something like that", but at the same time you're wondering if maybe that person's a little confused but despite all that you're still really interested to get to the bottom of it and you think maybe you might invest some time into figuring it out but, "Oh, Hey! Is that a bag of Reese's Pieces in my drawer? I forgot I had those...what was I talking about?"

Ugh...can't remember the word for that.

What if I can't find Mr. Pibb? Would Dr. Pepper do? Or am I just assed out and would get a "sorry, maybe next time"?

In reply to this comment by inflatablevagina:
Yes pizza should do the trick.
Cheese and pineapple please. Oh and a Mr. Pibb. Then you're a shoe in

In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
The results of a proposal are 50/50? What, it just depends on what kind of mood you're in at the time? Remind me to show up with pizza when I do it, then.

Everyone loves pizza.

In reply to this comment by inflatablevagina:
That's what everyone says to me.
Results are 50/50

I don't know whether I should be creeped out or if I should propose...

Then I'd say... Nice to meet you

In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
What if I said that it was the tentacles that did the trick?

In reply to this comment by inflatablevagina:
Not wrong..... everyone loves a gigantic tentacled vagina.....right?

In reply to this comment by MarineGunrock:
Is it wrong that the sight of that turns me on?

The Top Ten Cereals of all Time

Sagemind says...

10). I hate Frosted Flakes!

9). Corn Pops are a different cereal in Canada, Same name, Same Box, Different Cereal.

. Golden Grahams, are good.

7). Honey Nut Cherios, Good stuff

6). Lucky Charms - Candy in a box

5). Cinnamon Toast Crunch - I'd rather have real cinnamon toast

4). We don't get Cocoa Krispies either although lately (just this year) we've had a NEW variety called Chocolate Rice Krispies which I'm sure is the same thing - my kids hated it, I had to force them to eat it because they made me buy it!

3). I've never seen Fruity Pebbles in Canada.

2). I've never even heard of Peanut Butter Crunch - but we do get "Reese Peanut Butter" cereal

1). Sometimes you can find Count Choculas in the store but rarely and almost never. We do have Neslie Quick Cereal though but it doesn't have marshmellos. And don't have Boo Berry or Frankenberry Cereal

Why Terminators Transport Naked

BoneyD says...

Hilarious!

They did actually explain this in the first film, in the scene where Reese is being interrogated by the police. Although, his character didn't fully understand the physics behind it...

See here at around 1.55 (great scene!)

10 Helpful Suggestions for Killing John Connor (Actionpack Talk Post)

videosiftbannedme says...

^Gotta disagree with you there. The first one was a blast, the second? Marginal at best. Don't even get me started on #3.

Meanwhile we've gotten 2 good Terminator movies so far. (And same rule above applies, regarding the third film.) Personally, I'm betting T4 is gonna suck worse than T3 did...just a CGI-laden popcorn fest. Even if they try to salvage some sort of coherence with the whole time travel thing (ie. when they show them sending back Reese, which I'm sure will happen at some point), it still won't satisfactorily explain how Skynet survived after having the CPU from the first Terminator dumped into the steel pit. "Judgement Day was inevitable; you only postponed it." Puh-leeze.

I fear that there's very little originality left in mainstream Hollywood. The best way to kill John Connor is to end the storyline.
