Very unusual crash between two racing superbikes
Looks like he outbraked himself.
It's lovely to see such very rare footage of the mating ritual of the lesser-striped Yamaha. Almost hypnotic in their twirling, they embrace in a feverish dance, spinning wildly as they lock horns. The air is electric as they tussle until, almost unnoticed, the male lets out a triumphant puff of blue smoke to signal he is finished. Finally they collapse on the floor, still panting for breath. Such graceful creatures.

That's some of the worst nature show voice-over I think I've ever heard - like he's speaking to a 5-year-old.
All are like that.
Not if its British by David Attenborough it's not.
I cant stand the voice overs in american nature docs like this. it just grates.

Defining Vintage (Vintage Talk Post)
I see your point Jonny. My personal preference usually is the whole video be the original ...at least 20 years old. There are some compilations for documentaries and award shows that have footage hard to see anywhere else. I may have posted a few of those myself. There was a sift I posted of living in the 20s that was a compilation.
Hard call. But wouldn't it be nice to think of this channel as an archive of original old video?
What are your thoughts on this... Unless it contains rare footage prepared in such a way that we could never have seen it otherwise.... all content must be in original form?
I've been compiling vintage sifts into decades for a while. I'm hoping down the line there will be a way to incorporate the vintage channel into decades somehow. Maybe having the old sifts tagged will make that easier one day
Rare Frilled Shark Caught on Camera
This video shows rare footage of a frilled shark in shallow water. The frilled shark (Chlamydoselachus anguineus) is a primitive shark species, sometimes called a "living fossil" because it resembles extinct species of sharks. Frilled sharks are usually found at depths of around 2,000 feet, but this one somehow found its way into shallow water off the coast of Japan, where it was captured and taken to a nearby marine park. In poor condition, the shark died soon after this video was shot.
Galileo Was Right - Hammer and Feather on the Moon
More of those rare footages. I hope the original lost tapes are found soon.
Marcuse and Revolution in Paradise - Herbert's Hippopotamus
