Hey Eric3579. Thanks for the reference to the France fuck you very much video...I enjoyed it.

I'm actually messaging because I found an interesting and kind of unique documentary that I can't embed.

Since you liked the magic mushroom reindeer video(that you found)-thank u by the way. I thought you would find it interesting.

As a lower videosift member I can't embed the series but I think you can.

It's a nine part video 'In Search of The Amazon's Psychedlic Sapo Frog'. To which one lick is 100 times more potent than morphine. The host is entertaining.
I discovered the documentary from http://www.disinfo.com/content/index.php

Here's the video provider (unfortunately it has ads)

I feel I owe you for the reindeer video. And if you don't want to post it that's cool. Actually it may not be embeddable at all on VS. Anyway I hope you enjoy the video.

Project for a New American Century

Irishman says...

So what you're saying is that what the clip says is in the paper, IS in the paper, whilst implying that it isn't, within your own context, then disassociating yourself from the subject.

Dude you need to take some psychedlics and get laid.

Metric's live extended version of Dead Disco

Krupo says...

If you don't know Metric, wait for the dissonance of the first two minutes of the extended intro to pass and enjoy the start of the actual melody.

"Dead Disco" is one of Metric's biggest hits; it gets old playing the same thing over and over so the band mixes it up at their shows, going into extended psychedlic versions of it; I was amazed the first time I watched it but it's worth watching again and again.

Lead singer Emily Haines is awesome, as is the rest of the band!

I have seen this performed live; it is completely amazing.

I'm incredibly pleased by the quality of the audio and even the video given the environment this was recorded in and the probably average quality of the equipment used to film it.

This was performed live in Saskatoon, on April 7, 2006.

To paraphrase from Anchorman, if you don't think this is the best live footage ever, I will fight you, that's no lie.
