rembarI think they said Rickson put 600 lbs. of lateral pressure on the spine and said that would definitely break any spine. However, and I can't stress this enough, DON'T TRUST FIGHT SCIENCE. In this case, yes, a crucifix will break someone's spine, but we know this not because of the show but (unfortunately) because of people actually injuring other people doing this move, and I'm sure some judoka have done real studies on the move too. Fight Science also decided that a ninjer had teh d34dly, so keep a critical eye.
