Hmm, perhaps - nothing dramatic though, I hardly noticed. Cue jokes about meeting weight restrictions as luggage in the earlier vid. Regardless, she looked similar to this vid when performing live and looked great in person at the Emerging Music Festival!

i'm working at the queensday-activities in my hometown later tonight (a music festival, its not cancelled) but not looking forward to it, very sad news.

btw, the police has said the driver did this on purpose, although it's not yet clear what the killer's motives were. (the killer is now in the hospital, undergoing surgery)

There are some people here that don't seem to understand: the cops HAVE to do something about that guy. The CAN NOT just let a guy run around naked. Yeah, blame our prudish society, but don't blame the cops. They were more than generous offering to let an obviously intoxicated man walk away if he simply put his clothes back on.

HOWEVER, these were the most incompetent cops I've seen in quite a while. When the guy threw away his clothes the second time, it should have been insta-cuffs and gone, with two of them hauling him away and a third carrying his effects. This 15 minute melee was absolutely ridiculous, and the completely ineffective use of the taser just made it that much worse.

The reason these guys are working music festivals instead of patrolling our cities is pretty clear here.

If the worst thing that happens at a music festival these days is that a magician takes his clothes off, the cops must have acted out of sheer boredom.

Fucking hell, these are places that people go to take drugs and do silly things. The organisers should have security, not cops. Security to deal with silly people taking drugs. Tasers are completely excessive.

Dj Rolando is fucking awesome. This set (The aztec mystic mix) was the soundtrack to a road trip to Detroit Elctronic Music Festival I did while living in NY in 2002. Back then I would not listen to any music with human voices...

I think all the people making moral points are somewhat missing the point. srd has it about right I think - once you are in a crowd you lose individuality because your choices are so limited. I've been at music festivals when there are crowd surges and nobody is in control. If someone goes down of course you try to help them up, but sometimes you're moving so fast your only choice is to go down with them or stumble over them.
