TF2 - New Medic Weapons and Goldrush

mas8705 says...

Why are so many people complaining about achievements? I'll have you know I have a score over 50k on xbox live and I am respected by anyone I play with or against...

As far as I see, TF2 was already a great game on the orange box, and I hope we get to see more updates soon on the 360 if not PC for sure... The Medic's new tools look fun and earning the achievements will show that you are commited to being the best... that and I really hope that they do the same thing with the other eight classes... (imagines engineer with lasers, double minigun heavy, demoman with sticks, and improved Spy)

Top Ten Most Innovative Games

Also, hopefully I won't be flamed for this or be labled as a fanboy, But I believe an honourable mention should be Halo.

The first one was the best, because it came out with a new twist, If i remember correctly, It was the first FPS to offer a re-chargable shield as well as health, that a lot of games since have just copied, or used something similar,
and where I agree that wolfenstein 3D was an awesome game, one of the points they made was that they added the minigun to the roster..

Which is true..

But its only there for the last level, so you can demolish the super-nazi.

However, your face when you pick it up is truly priceless.

Apache and UH-60 Precision Target Fire using IR

BoneyD says...

I've seen this video floating around the internets and I tend to think it's been mis-labeled. Though it's difficult to be sure, I believe the attacking craft are likely to be AH-6 (or MH-6) Little Birds or something similar. They use two forward firing miniguns and/or rockets, as opposed to a Spectre or Blackhawk which are side mounted. The latter would be firing as they orbit the target, whereas we see the rounds in the video as though from a stationary (or directly approaching) vehicle. I've also heard it argued that they were AH-64 Apaches doing the strafe, but i'm fairly certain they only use the slower firing 30mm cannon.

Still, an impressive video! It's interesting how the ground fire from the .50cal chimes in when the chopper attack has finished. I would guess to keep any survivors heads down, lest they attack the vulnerable passing aircraft?
