Does Government Have a Revenue or Spending Problem?

peter12 says...

Last graph (adjusted for inflation per capita) should be put in a separate diagram because of high risk of misinterpretation (750-->7000 instead of 2000-->7000)

He forgot one thing, people today are more productive then they were 60 year ago (Productivity growth 1947-2012)

To bypass this problem spending should compared with GDP ( market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time): Total Government expenditures by major category of expenditure as percantages of GDP: 1938-2009. It is stable since 1968, nearly 30% of the GDP.

How to Speed Your Mail Delivery

schmawy says...

Oh dear. Here's what I found...

"...So, being the naive fellow that I am, I asked some workers at the on-campus post office for this number…..They didn’t know what I was talking about! The postal workers kept asking, “What type of number is it?” I would respond with, “it’s the LPC code or the BRL number.” They tried to look it up in the computer, but just remained as confused as I. That is when I called my “friend”, Big Cheez, and he explained to me the video, “Infinite Solutions,” with Mark Erickson is hoax. So, I watched his other videos and realized my erroneous trust. I appreciate the cleverness of “Infinite Solutions”, but my face is red knowing that the whole thing was a joke. Mark Erickson is a bit nerdy, but not helpful. Check out this video on keeping your produce fresh, and be glad that I let you in on the secret. (note:the video concerning the mail is probably the most believable…well, it was for me!!!)..."
