I will do that, Griefer. I absolutely loved that piece. It made me feel like a ghost. I can't believe it's from the late eighties.

Thanks! I can't tell you how happy that makes me!
Even if this vid inspired JUST you. Thats all that matters.
Leighton Pierce was a guest professor in my film program, and I will never forget how inspiring and helpful he was. You can check out the rest of his vids at vimeo.
Cheers.

The Long Good Friday - Trailer
This is a proper London gangster film - it's not by Guy fakeypants Ritchie (about Ritchie from wiki: 'He adopted a cockney accent, despite being the stepson of baronet Sir Michael Leighton of Loton Park and a descendant of Edward I' - Ritchie likes to rough it with the commoners but in reality he's a mockney).
The Long Good Friday is the archetypal British gangster film, it has great actors; Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren and even Pierce Brosnan turns up in it briefly.
It's worth a watch and really really deserves to get at least 10 votes for the front.
