James May goes for a ride in a U-2 Spy Plane

I think May's closing quote is right on. If we could get everyone to view things from this perspective it would change the world.
He shows his bias at the end. Not everyone who went to the moon would see the earth as "left over from the big bang". I don't think it would terribly world changing. Maybe for a few days after everyone landed. That's it.

James May's All Time Favourite Toy
James May just won +250 awesome points in my book with that one. Having been into model trains in the past there was nothing more annoying than seeing 50-60 year old guys playing with toys only to always snap with "DONT TOUCH THAT" at everyone else.
This stuff is meant to be enjoyed, not to be a dick about it to everyone else. The technology is also pretty awesome these days too, you can run like a dozen trains all on the same track (on a BIG layout) all with different speeds forward/reverse even with remote control.
James May's All Time Favourite Toy
I have a real soft spot for James May, he's like a poor mans Stephen Fry to me.

Once again Top gear shows its ridiculous production values. How much does this show cost to make?! Well, the reliant robin space shuttle episode probably cost more.
It makes sense though, Top Gear is the BBC's most popular TV show. And from the enjoyment I and many others get from it, and the quality of content, I'd say it's worth it :]

They actually drank it?!
Of course Captain Slow drank it. If you knew what he already ate, this shouldn't come as a surprise.
