Living with a hernia can be difficult

I had to stop watching this as I had a hernia repaired a few days ago and this isn't helping me recover

I'm Canadian and russel peters may be popular but i think he is far from funny in comparison to almost all other less popular canadian comedians.

Infact, in order to make me laugh, Russel Peters would have to work so hard he would probably get a hernia.

His jokes : he is brown, his family is brown, his family being weird because they are brown, his family having a hard time with english because they are brown, india is crazy because everyone there is brown and the crazy antics that brown people have with white people because they are brown.

for some odd reason i grow tired of his routine fast... but im not sure why....

You guys are debating whether or not it's French, while I want to know, what is in that log? There's gotta be more to the story. That log must be the famous Loire Valley Leprechaun Log or something. I mean, that's an awful lot of hernia-inducing labor over a log. Maybe the log is made out of gold or palladium. Or maybe it's the magical All-Day-Erection Log. Or maybe it's the log that causes fair maidens to fall hopelessly in love with you. Maybe there are magic mushrooms growing in the log! Endless questions. The least of which is, "Hey, Tater, you think they's talkin' French or Flemish?"

This is the worst attempt at anything I have seen in quite some time. After not having played for 6 months I could still do better than this, and without looking like I'm going to have a hernia on all the simple downbeats. I'm going to have to say the White Stripes ho may be better than this as well. Please downvote this comment, or I will be very unhappy.

I think the roast is going to make a good read, after the event, because we may have trouble in real time with participants,...would not want anyone to feel left out, if they are at work(shudder) or something......

This guy hits all the basics, including the obligatory retorts, from the roastee, at the finale, after all the jokes are beaten to death, and there is no more energy, from PMSL, or ROTFL, or, DTWTAHO (damn,that will take another hernia operation)

Perhaps it is this aspect of the roast, that makes weary the apprehensive-


(When the roastmaster opens the program, he must keep in mind that there are going to be people in the audience who are not comfortable with poking fun at others. It is his job to tell them that we only roast people that we like and that it is all in fun. By poking fun at himself at the beginning, this will help put the audience at ease.)

I am already preparing, my self-effacing opener, as sensitive and self-conscious as I am, I will try hard to turn the mirror upon myself, to make a fine example for the rest of ya......

I know i am not that clever or funny as some here, and there are some witty folks that would be an asset to a roast, (a harsh contrast to the inordinate amount, of absolutely boring motherfuckers here), and I hope if you think you are funny or clever, you will show up, so we can spread the new-bung-ripping cheer, to the deserving, and the cowardly.....

I suggest going and watching some old Dean Martin roasts, or one of the best ever-The Comedy Central, Dennis Leary Roast-That was one for the record books....
