i used nuke, which isn't designed for generative images. conceptually, this is fairly simple. just a several iterations of the same concept and then a stack of filters.

I've built about 15+ generative visuals videos over the last year, using Max MSP & my own music. Is that what you used? It almost has the appearance of something like Resolume since it's very symmetrical, which is cool.

Thats really interesting.. id actually like to see all gener types, including porn, with this type of test.

It is way better than milkdrop and geiss together!

1) They are a form of generative art, with a genetic code recieving input from users to guide the procreation of codes

2) the results are way more beautiful than MD or geiss (and I do like them both)

3) For those who grew up with fractals from Fractint, this new generation of fractals is just mindblowing

4) the syncing to the music part of those visualization plugins is overated. Just run electricsheep while playing music and you can swear it is responding to the music

Bible(tm) 1.0 was OK for its time - but linear Text adventures just don't sell anymore. Bible just can't compete with generative MMOs. And the cranky Dad-King character? Katamari Damacy's was much more amusing. Fanboy should give it up.
