We’re not stupid, Magic is!

Please Warm My Wiener

Those blues dudes sure are particular about making sure their meat is properly handled. Catfish Keith is an old favourite of mine.

"NO CGI" is really just INVISIBLE CGI (1/4)

VLDL: When stupid NPC’s have bad AI

My favourite thing about this was the nicely done exploding sheep. It brought back fond memories of this...

I wonder whatever happened to the guy with the chainsaw. He couldn't have gone far.

How Magicians Misdirect You

I love these views of magic from a different angle, and I've seen plenty of examples in real life. As Penn and Teller know, seeing how it's done is just as entertaining as not.

My favourite example is in this respect *related=https://videosift.com/video/Magician-shows-how-the-trick-is-done

"You're still here? It's Over. Go Home. Go."

As soon as I saw the video title and had half a glance at the thumbnail I knew exactly what this was and how it was delivered, down to the almost silent tic-a-tic-aaaaaaa.

This was probably the biggest film of my youth (even if it wasn't my favourite).

If you loved the show "The Bear" *spoilers

that's the point. that episode was amazing and def. hard to watch. the show is hard to watch but it's rewarding. my favourite trait of the show is that the show allows the characters to be flawed but to also learn, grow, and be better people, which i don't think i've really seen before in TV.

My wife can't get pass this "Christmas dinner scene w/ mom" scene and so we stopped watching the show. The show got increasingly more chaotic and way too loud. The multi-directional conversations/screaming/yelling/smartass one-liners and worse of all, the "Yes. no......Yes... wait, wait... NO!" split second lines are too annoying (or cranked up to 12 if you prefer). My wife and I are too old for this.

Harry Belafonte - Day-O

I had honestly thought his first performance of that song on TV wasn't until 1978, where he did my favourite. Maybe the above doesn't count as it was a stage show that happened to be filmed.

Apparently he was good friends with Jim Henson, which only makes it sweeter.

Ricky Gervais on Trans Woman

kir_mokum says...

it was rough in a comedy sense. he might as well have made a "my wife is always nagging" joke. even if you hate trans people, it wasn't a clever joke. and honestly, comedians using "woke culture" and trans people as jumping off points is so fucking boring. they've rarely added anything to the conversation are rarely funny. it's unfortunate that a lot of my favourite comedians are still doing those kinds of bits.

Monty Python - Italian

This is my favourite unknown Python sketch, and one I recommend to non-python speaking people as an easy introduction to the silliness.

You might find it funny that we had The Banana Splits in Ireland too, and it was one of my favourite shows. In fact, a couple of weeks ago I was singing the intro to my own son.

In Texas in the 70’s we had The Banana Splits, a gang of wacky mascots, that hosted Hanna Barbera cartoons.
Where/when was Wake Rattle and Roll aired?

Eric Idle's Rutland Weekend Television

RIP Henry Woolf, who I know best from several collaborations with Eric Idle including this, the first sketch from RWT, and one of my favourites.

Machine-wrapped with butter indeed. *promote
