When tired of hearing long-haired noodling it was time to sneak up to his kitchen window with the alto sax and blast dissonant acid-jazz riffs till he answered the door and loaded the bong-

What if you woke up to your cockatoo dancing on the keyboard tablet to his rendition of a Chopin etude?

Ok... she is pretty amazing... but what an absurd song... You can pretty much tell that some composer decided... "'I'm going to write this to sound ridiculous hard to sing... as well as pretty much just sounding ridiculous...".
I don't know... maybe someone with an ear for opera can tell me i'm crazy but find listening to that painful.


The composer wrote this quite probably for a talented interpreter of the period who was actually able to pull this off and make it sound whack!....Real easy to compose pieces impossible for the human voice to replicate, it's that fine-line between impossible and well-executed by very few that makes this piece an etude in extremes.

Just tossing this in the mix.

If you can find a CD of Chopin's etudes, I think you'll be amazed.

That one at 7:20 sounds like an Etude. Very cool.

..as breathtaking as an exact rendering can be...perhaps after his etudes, one day he'll develop the ear into a style.....Glad they left the opening out-


Guitarists: When asked to play this song in the future, start it out real pretty-like, then break into dissonance, missed notes, and battered timing.....that'll learn em' to request that song again!!
