Though that comic strip did disencourage me from posting a longer opinion. I've never actually seen anything like that happen online but it really seems likely.

Seriously, it's a daytime TV commercial... in the (horribly prudish) USA, no less. Nobody has any business being offended by this.

I can't help but wonder why you'd spend $55 on it, though. Certainly if this small piece of plastic does so much for you, you could rig something up for a few bucks that would do the job just as well. How about half a roll of toilet paper?

I've seen that guy before and he's more a daytime tv presenter than a journalist.

the real genius here is the second or two of the abdoer commercial at the beginning and the Judge Mathis clip at the end. Makes it look like it was a real commercial in the middle of daytime tv hell.

The first 30 seconds of this video are great... I too could have sworn it was an american version of Brass Eye or The Day Today.

I'm glad that, unlike we europeans, americans are being fed a steady diet of truth about U.S.A!.. U.S.A!!.. U.S.A!!! woooo!

It's true that our media tells us that modern americans are taught they live in the greatest country in the world.. they ARE #1. Also, when they go to war, god is on their side...

Perhaps the similarity in their mass psyches is why 'america' fears the evil islamic countries..

The interesting thing is it is not only from 'european' media (I mean, 'lies') that I get that image of 'american elitism' (as a whole)... I mainly get it from AMERICAN media (in terms of both support/ rejection) e.g. Simpsons.. Family Guy... the american NEWS... american daytime tv.. american latenight tv... american sports stars... the american government.. (oops!) ...the list is endless.

Also.. the whole "you'd be speaking german" thing is annoying. God, I wish I could've remembered. I know I saw that on daytime tv once and nearly shit my pants on that ending line.

Ok, edited the title, I wrote "must-see" cause I didnt really know how to describe it without actually seeing it, but in hindsight I realize the title could have been better. Sorry about that.

Also yea the dog bit is a bit .. wierd.. I think that caused some stir when it was aired the first time. Kristopher Schau, the one doing the interview is well known here for "outrageous stunts":
-Spent one week entirely inside a car, NEVER going outside,
-spent another week trying to decay as much as humanly possible (think "Supersize Me" on crack, and before that movie came out.. overeating,no washing,daytime tv, etc..) all inside a shopping street window on the busiest street of Oslo
-is in like 50 different bands, one of them "Cumshots" got global news coverage for a gig on the Quart festival, when they had "Fuck For Forest" do the very naughty thing live on stage.

So, over here, the dog bit was sort-of "You have to take into account whos doing it" I think thats why it passed
