Hipnotic says...I think the pilot wanted to fly in front of the camera but had to compensate for crosswinds.
Why does it seem to be doing weird drifting maneuvers the whole time? Is that how gliders fly?

oritteropoThe pilot does straighten it up a little before touching down. This aircraft type has a 40 kt maximum crosswind limit, so this is about as extreme as it gets.
I don't get how the tires don't get ripped off coming in at that angle.

Wobbly but awesome landing in rain
Chairman_woo says...Apart from the fact that larger planes than that routinely do. Just because larger aircraft are not normally manoeuvred so violently does not mean they are incapable.
Plus that's a relatively small plane in extreme crosswinds. I assure you as a lifetime plane nut that's not fake, just mad p1lot1ng sk1llz! (I would assume they are very low on fuel etc. as normally one would never attempt a landing in conditions that bad)
