It's got potential. I like Pinhead's general ambiguity in particular.

The only thing that gets me is getting the cenobites' attention by just finishing the last few moves of the box. I always liked Pinhead's line that "It is not hands that summon us, it is desire".

I don't have much interest in MMORPG's but that was a pretty cool movie, and with all that chain action going on I halfway expected to see Pinhead or some Cenobites come marching out of the dust.

For the love of god, just let him on the couch, preferably before the cenobites arrive.

And then the cenobites show up and tear Gretchen's soul apart.

Ryjkyj - I actually agree with you on the Event Horizon part.. but within the confines of it being a movie it works for me. It's not perfect, sticking your finger into a black void? Uhmm.. yeah.... BUT that movie gave me a huge feeling of dread, and I can watch any given normal scary movie and walk out just fine. It's one of the rare ones that actually got to me. Keep in mind I saw it in a dark movie theater, on a ganormous screen with booming bass. The asteroid at the beginning shook the seats when it rolled by.

The other thing about it is, it IS related to Hellraser. Might even be considered a spin-off. How so?

Both in reference to hell. Was the scientist in the movie becoming some sort of Cenobite?

Also the dark matter chamber resembles the designs on the boxes from Hellraiser.

I actually like that it ties in with the Hellraiser movies, and that's an area where others may or may not as well themselves.

Cenobites never open the boxes, they are passed on only to the most deserving, those who look the hardest, strive for Perfect Order amongst the chaos. Leviathan has decreed it, though Pinhead has a history of chaos in his blood, Leviathan has seen past it as Pinhead is also the most chosen one amongst the Order of the Gash!

That which makes him rebellious also makes him the most dangerous.
