Niagara - Not Just The Falls: Filmed By Drone Chopper

chingalera says...

Return to this breathtaking video again in 6 years with its brilliant colors and inspiring musical accompaniment once the skies above every major city in the world are buzzing with these puppies (outfitted with all-manner of state-of-the-art-up-in-your-shit technology), and re-elect the reptile you sleepwalked into office four years prior.

Enjoy the relative freedom we have enjoyed for some time now, and visit Beautiful Niagara Falls!

(Message paid for the cabal to re-elect Michael Bloomberg or he will buy another campaign.)

I understand why they banned it but group B racing was the penultimate trial of skill and reflexes. The old clips are still some of the most exciting and breathtaking moments of racing history.

How can one person be so dumb?

The part that frustrates me is they didn't try to educate her. Not stopping stupid is just as bad as being stupid. But still hilarious!

The host attempts to at 1:50, and her response is just breathtaking. I don't blame them for giving up after that.

Astounding.

Breathtaking.

I've seen a good few of these, and thought I understood the scale, but I got such a serious "I can see my house from here" moment (3:10, mid-to-far left, in case you wonder) that re-re-re-re-ignited my astonishment at humanity's achievements, that I was literally left speechless.

James May said it better: "It's slightly humbling" or, more descriptively, "oh, god, it's... sorry, I'm slightly... woah... it's amazing".

This is why I'm NOT seeing the movie. I love sci-fi and I'm ok with a bit of non-realism but I could tell from the trailer it was going to pass my "stupid" threshold by a lot...

It's not worth seeing in theater, but check it out eventually. The effects and design are top notch. There are some shots that are breathtakingly beautiful and awe inspiring for a fan of sci-fi.

The Dark Knight Rises - Trailer #4

Hybrid says...

I don't really get that, regarding the "stagy" look. Besides Nolan uses the same cinematographer, Wally Pfister, on all his films, and The Dark Knight, Inception etc, were nothing short of breathtaking visually. So trust in them.

Regarding Bane. Nolan's Batman films have always been more grounded in reality. A huge CG like Bane pumped full of steroids would destroy the feel and groundedness of Nolan's Gotham. Bane is still very much like the comics though. Brutal. Highly intelligent. Cunning. Deadly.>> ^Deano:

After all these trailers something's beginning to bother me. Many of these scenes look a bit "stagy" which is a poor way of saying they don't look particularly believable or cinematic. I'm not sure why but there's something in the way Nolan does action/crowd scenes that looks a bit flimsy, as though you can begin to see everyone as extras and the sets as sets.
Maybe it needs better editing or photography in the first place. I know I'm grasping here, but there's a sense of unreality here.
Hey and wasn't Bane this huge monster with tanks or something? This Bane just looks like a regular guy.
