http://www.metro.co.uk/news/831660-blind-dog-myron-can-still-catch-balls-and-frisbees:

The brave hound's courage has made him one of Australia's best-loved dogs.

He sadly had both eyes removed by vets when he was just a few months old, but the four-year-old Boxer/Border Collie cross still manages to have fun just like any other pooch.

His owner Raquel Wood takes him for walks in her local park in Campleton, New South Wales, where he sprints around catching toys.

Raquel believes that Myron's acute hearing, intelligence and a kind of sixth sense has helped him enjoy life to the full.

The 41-year-old said: 'We don't think Myron is disabled. He's differently abled.

'He can still catch balls and Frisbees because his hearing is so good and he's learnt through trial and error.

'Sometimes I do call out to him if he's "hot" or "cold" but not always, its like he has a sixth sense.

'He can also lie down, beg, roll over and do all sorts of doggie tricks.

'He's very smart. It's actually hard to tell he doesn't have any eyes.'

Vets recommended that Myron should be put down as a pup, as he also sadly suffers from epilepsy and is hyper sensitive.

However, Raquel and her husband Terry stuck by him and spent thousands of dollars getting him better.

Cute Together: Dog and Baby playing

My dog is part border collie, she does this all the time.
Sometimes she gets going so fast, her back-end starts passing her front-end.
I've never seen a dog that can corner as fast!

Now imagine, you need to catch the dog so you can put her outside, and she doesn't want to go out.
Almost impossible to catch if she doesn't want to be caught!

And her favorite game outside is tag and you're it!

That looks like a border collie and they do that, but usually bark at the same time. It's like a 360º siren for herding. I know this because my neighbor's dog did it until my other neighbor called animal control so many times that the owners were forced to take it to the vet and have it's larynx hole-punched. Now it goes "harf harf harf" like it has emphysema or something.

"we're not playin' bring it"
I wonder if the dog ever does play.
It is way too calm and attentive for a 3 month old puppy. Something seems odd to me.

Maybe it's calm because it does get plenty of play time? Does it occur to anyone that the reason it's well behaved and calm is that it's already worked out it's energy running around?
This looks like a very well looked after dog. It's doing set pieces for the camera, so no, it's not running around being disobedient (all those scenes would have been cut!).

agreed; notice how the video cuts just after the dog is supposed to release the item from her jaw and place it in the owners hand. i never managed to get my very intelligent jack russel dog to do this (deceased) she loved playing fetch.. but had some weird instinct thing kick in when it got to the 'give him the ball so he can throw it again' bit.. it was like 'i know i want to give him the ball, so he can throw it again, but at the same time, he wants the ball, and its in my jaw, so he can't have it'.. she never seemed to make the connection between not giving ball back = end of fetch game.

The attention span of the average dog is very short at 3 months, BC's are fucking neurotic, Like sifters, but this dog is really attentive, like more attentive than all of the working "goose" dogs I have seen at 6 months, doing the BC thing for a living. It seems Odd to me, and it should to you, but I forgot, you are all fucking experts in dog obedience and the breeding and care of border collies.

P.S. if you aren't aware of what a goose dog is....

I had a border collie, and when I'd put a ball next to a biscuit, and tell him which one to choose, he'd always choose the one I asked for.

And one time when I was running to catch a football, I started to edge closer to the road. He ran behind me and nipped at my heels, making me miss the football, but stay out of the road. A second later a car flew past. So my dog saved my life.

And like burd, I miss my dog a lot.
