How'd you manage to pull that off?
I have no idea how that happened but I removed the second one. Very strange behavior if I do say so myself.

Shut up! All you sift is Bob Dylan!
No Biggie. :) (Blog Entry by laura)
He does look cool.
And having read the short story on that page; a guy who spent 20 years in the military, ends up making peruvian whistles and praises a Bob Dylan music video seems like a great guy to me

It's definitely based on Penny's farm. However, that song is a pretty basic depression era song. Dylan's lyrics are more of a declaration of independence from his former musical ideals and the people who saw this as "pure" music. So it's pretty cool that he performed that song the first time he ever played electric on a stage, and at the Newport Folk festival no less.

try to find "the bently boys": down on penny's farm. Great original, from wich Dylan kinda "borrowed" re-arranged and formed maggies farm. The only reason I believe dylan stole the song is because the lyrics imply the same metaphor and values. The original is a little better. Not trying to troll, just saying, check out the original. Its an amazing song....I found a link to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_9_kp8HPfA

What's your first memory of rock & roll? (Rocknroll Talk Post)
I think my music tastes are just thoroughly engrained via my parents. Both my mommom and daddad were into rock plenty - not to mention just about anything else. Of the ones that really stuck with me were such folks as Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman from one side, Pink Floyd, David Bowie on the other with the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Rolling Stones and others shared between.
Now I'll listen to anything that sounds good to me, really, shunning following groups and simply cherry picking pieces of music I like.
