Hey Bjorn ... I've had the exact same reaction once or twice [OK, maybe three times tops!] when I first joined the Sift. BUT there IS something about this place that made me want to stick around. I've since learned to not take anything so personally and that has made me much happier indeed. It would be a shame to lose you ... *I* think you belong here.

Please don't leave!! The comments were nothing personal towards you...they didn't like the video because it went against the site's rules and it wouldn't have mattered who posted it...if you hadn't of been the one to post that one, I'm certain it would have been by someone else here. I believe the ban was only to be temporary because they thought they could delete the video for you that way. Some of the people here can be a bit insensitive and I feel awful that you are so upset.

You post some awesome videos and are a really nice person and we don't want to lose you! I hope you'll reconsider.

It is only a self link if that is your yt account (which would be a bit strange if you are Belgian and have a U.S. yt account) or if you had anything to do with the production... or if you are in fact the rainfrog!

If not, you only had to say that you had nothing to do with it and not kill it... and in that case, please re-post it and let me know and I'll upvote, and I reckon @chicchorea probably would too.

It always looks suspicious if new members post vids which have very low (or zero) view count vids from yt, and in fact the vast majority of sifters have accidentally self-linked early on... but it's one of the most important features of videosift that it's for posting other people's work that you like and not promoting your own.

My Daughter and I went to a Halloween Party dressed as the Power Loader from "Aliens." I love Halloween, and I wanted to create a costume that my daughter and I could share. She was amazingly content the whole night, and enjoyed looking at everybody else's costumes!I built this robot suit in two nights and a day out of cardboard boxes and hot glue. My baby girl rides comfortably in a Baby Bjorn with the roll cage protecting her. The entire costume only weighs about ten pounds, plus baby.My highest priority was keeping my little girl safe, so the costume was designed for mobility and quick exit in case of emergency. The boots are basically cardboard slippers that could pop right off. With a shrug of my shoulders, I could pop the arms right off. What you can't see from the video is that there are no bottoms on the robot arms, so my human arms were completely free and unimpeded. I could leave the claws hanging idle from the shoulder joints while I could address any of my girl's needs. I would have had to take the suit off to changer her diaper, though!The internet has been amazingly kind and positive about this outfit. Thank you for all of the amazing comments and compliments you have posted about my little girl!

On a good day I can hit maybe 20-30 loots per minute, and I'm just an amatuer. The pros are pretty consistently at the 50l/m range and apparently Bjorn "The Bear" Olafson broke the 60 loots per second barrier last month, although it hasn't been independently verified yet.
