This is go down as the best line from AVGN ever....

I got two words for the AVGN: Matrix Switch.

I <3 my Matrix switch. My TV only has one HD input, but I got a PS2, a Wii, and my PC to hook up to it. My matrix switch has 4 inputs, and 2 outputs, so if I ever get a projector (its in the plans ), I can use that to let my girlfriend watch a movie on my PS2 in prog-scan goodness, while I play with my Wii on my TV. Once I got the cash for either a PS3 or 360 (haven't decided which yet, too broke for either now), I'll have a spare set of component inputs.

It was a brilliant review just because the guitar player who sings the AVGN's theme song actually helps in the review... I thought it was more of an episode for him than it was for battletoads...

Try AVGN, he may have reviewed that. Yahtzee is more about the modern titles (can't have the angry guy whinging about 'x' with gimmick 'y' market get too crowded now, can we?).

The review itself is typical but then again, Yahtzee isn't exactly a good reviewer, he's just a humorous guy. Unfortunately he never reviews the games based on previous outings. The new AITD is about as far from the series as you can get whilst still sharing the same name.

I know what you mean... The AVGN got his youtube account suspended, those all of his videos got removed... youtube viewers were very pissed off about it (type in AVGN, you see 100s of OMFG AVGN suspended)... However that's how it works sadly... If the original poster gets suspended or makes his videos private, who are we to say put it back... Just look at Judgespear... Do you know how pissed off I was when he got suspended? Not only did alot of good videos get removed and lost for good, but I lost alot of videos on the sift! And besides, go to screw attack, his own site or gametrailers and you can easily fix...

I was really impressed by the commentary, avgn surely knows his stuff, especially when it comes to references to Buster Keaton, and the other slient film references. It also showed me that Jackie had some inspiration that you wouldn't perhaps expect.

The commentary also benefits from avgn's voice being rather pleasing and calming.

Back on topic, the pole slide obviously was going to be number one, come on, that stunt is hard core, and not any old sort of "hardcore", as the term is over used somewhat, but really HARDCORE.

I wish AVGN would do more clips out of character, his take on the convoluted and disjointed history of Zelda was also really well done. I remember his Bible games reviews had me in tears first time I saw it but after that the whole novelty of it wore off.

The man is a genius in the truest sense of the word (Jackie, not the commentator, no offense AVGN)

That looked terrible. No, no, no, not the model! Well, the tan is a little on the orange side but in no way would a shitty tan ruin the fantasies, running in the hundreds in the allotted time it took to watch this, going through my primitive monkey brain right now. The way they handled the whole 'tanning bed clap-trap of death' thing. In the words of the AVGN, "WHAT were they THINKING?!"
