Every time I come to TO and they've closed the DVP for some bike thing or parade, I end up taking Yonge to get downtime and cursing the whole way. Upvote anyway

it's official: I'm old (Blog Entry by smibbo)
Although I have about 16 years to go before I'm 40 I can honestly say my eye sight is still near perfect... Yep, I'm feeling a like a yong un.
All he had to do was drop the knife...
After pinning him against a bike stand with the car, they approach him, then yell, "Back off!" like he's got anywhere to go.
When the cops are yelling at him to drop the knife, he doesn't do it, but when a kid (sounds like a kid's voice) tells him to drop the knife, he does it.
I would upvote it for the pepper spray in the take-down, but I'm going to upvote it because I work a couple blocks from Yonge & Wellesley, where this happens.
Krupo should see this vid.
Delerium - Innocente (Dj Tiesto Mix)
Sorry for posting to Delerium clips in one night but this is a very cool vid on its own merits, especially if you want to see a "cool" look at Toronto, which never looks as cool as it does in this vid, IMHO.![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/wink.gif)

Lots of shots around the New City Hall, plus some by the iconic Sam the Record Man store on Yonge Street.
And the song is cool too.
North Korean Mass Gymnastics
North Korea is by no means the only odious totalitarian regime around, but it does seem to be the only one with this fixation on group gymnastics. Anybody know if there is a cultural reason for this, or is it just that Kim Yong Il has a thing for gymnastics?
