Okay, I'm a long-time lurker now first-time poster. Why? Because watching this I nearly choked on my toast because this whole thing is filmed IN MY TOWN of Waterloo, Ontario. So it definitely needs a *Canada addition immediately.

If anything it's probably from students at WLU or UW Universities. I first picked up on it from them getting on a Grand River Transit bus in UpTown Waterloo showing our JazzFest banners on the street lights.

School bus? we don't need no stinking school bus!

I had a similar idea when I was 7 or 8.

New York (and other major metropolitan area) skyscrapers could be connected by a network of waterslides that allowed quick access up or down Manhattan. Office attire may need to be rethought, and perhaps in winter it would be more of a luge, but same idea.

Need to go uptown but can't afford the taxi, change into your trunks and onto the uptown express tube slide you go!

Colombian kids have it made!

Is this the indoctrination you are exposed to in America? The implantation of a set system that must never change.... No right turn... no left turn... gas... carwash... subway... don't walk... no parking... tow way zone... uptown... downtown... 1st avenue... home sweet home... Now you sing it... Clearly its memory implanted hypnotic focus words. Bloody CIA and their MK ULTRA experiments in the 60s.

Katrina the Untold Stories

dotdude says...

My sister (Uptown) and I (Metairie) had minor damage. Three aunts Uptown were not so lucky. One had 27 inches standing salt water in her basement. Another had water up to the ceiling in her basement – dampness came through the floorboards upstairs. And a third one had a tornado (that accompanied Katrina) rip the roof off allowing for it to rain inside.
