Fully automatic anti-anything super gun
.....bullet hoses....what fun,..tungsten, in high demand due to diminished deposits, will run out they say, in about 25 years.....LED lights will probably replace incandescents.....
Fully automatic anti-anything super gun
That is the phalanx weapon system. Its onboard most navy ships. The problem is it fires a wall of bullets and not all of them are going to hit the target. If your on the ocean oh well. Your in a city and oh shit you just did more damage than the missile or rocket would have done. Still a cool weapon system though. Its been around for almost 20 years now and has shot down some small missiles in the first gulf war. The ground systems have been around for almost that long but arent that prevalent because of the problem with throwing 4500 rounds in the air. There are self destructing tungsten rounds that kill them selves on tracer burn out but i still didn't think that to many civilians on the other end would be willing to take the risk
