Storm Surge Like You've Never Experienced it Before
Hahaha. And TWC does real news! BTW, I'm watching E2 right now and about half-way done.
Man... BBC's The Bodyguard clips are tame by comparison. US TV... everything must be SENSATIONAL!!! FEAR FEAR FEAR! ... even the weather. Yes, Florence is dangerous, big and wet, but come on... focus!
The 4 Most Insulting TV Ads you see Every Christmas
Ya, but this RC doesn't support it. TWC did that on purpose.
Huh; I've found instructions on-line for even my pathetic Comcast remotes and can skip 30 seconds at a time; 6-8X taps, and it's like "what advertisement"?
South Park On Cable Companies
FYI, they made fun of Time Warner Cable (TWC) with that logo. See http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r28708070- for the details especially http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r28710072- ...
I only have cable for its Internet since that is the only broadband and cheapest available in my cities (no DSL and FIOS even in my neighborhoods).

Remember Dial-Up Modems
>> ^Throbbin:
When I got my 14.4 US Robotics modem, I dialed into their bulletin board that they advertised on the underside of their modem. I thought it was very interesting. My mom not so much when the phone bill came in and she demanded to know who was calling a California phone number for 2 hours.
Yeah, it sounds like when was I was a newbie during my teenage days. I didn't know same area codes does not always mean local calls.
I still use my dial-up modem as a backup ($9.95 per month for ten hours a month, but it gives me Giganews with it!) once in a while when my cable modem goes down (stupid TWC RR, Adelphia, and @Home).
New Simpsons HD Intro
The thing is, to get 50 megabits in Japan costs the equivalent of only $30 a month.
$30 a month in DSL from my provider (a middleman provider between Verizon and I that charges maybe $5 a month extra for unlimited bandwidth + more) gives you a 1 megabit connection!
$25 a month for a 1 megabit connection is bullshit. It's utter garbage.
I live in a city in California between Santa Barbara and LA where Verizon and Time Warner Cable have both rolled out fiber. But the cost for FIOS is ridiculous, and gets you only 5 megabits to start.
TWC offers a 10 megabit line for $40-some a month, but is interested in metered bandwidth. That's unacceptable, and I refuse to support it.
The low end broadband speeds haven't changed in 10 years or so. There shouldn't even be a .766 megabit option available at all.
I understand that there's an infrastructure problem with doing this, and that these companies need to recover their losses. Thus, they want to keep shitty DSL and whatever speed $30 solutions available.
But someday the low end options need to be upgraded. 5 megabits should cost $20 a month.
Is YouTube slow today? (Sift Talk Post)
Nevermind. It looks like TWC RR is having problems (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r19335830-Fiber-Broken-Affecting-Roadrunner-Highspeed-Most-of-SOCAL ) and now seems faster:
America We Stand as One
I didn't see any reference to the TWC or 9/11, unless you're referring to the firefighters, and the Statue of Liberty has always been a symbol for freedom and the United States. This singer doesn't make any attempts to conceal his message, through images or words or otherwise. All you had to do was read the posted title and you should already know his angle, it is hardly a "cheap shot". You are entitled to your opinion.
