dr who-this is the story of amelia pond

oritteropo says...

Only the last one, I think, and probably only the last few episodes. The convoluted stories referenced are only incidental to this video... as far as I know!

There is a storyboard version of an unfilmed alternate ending on vs too - http://videosift.com/video/Doctor-Who-P-S-The-Amy-And-Rory-Epilogue

Same storyline, just from a different point of view.

How many seasons of this crap do I have to watch to understand this?

Doctor Who: P.S. - The Amy And Rory Epilogue

>> ^FlowersInHisHair:

I thought it was a terrible way to write Amy & Rory out of the series. Really disappointing and logically inconsistent - way beyond the usual Who illogicalness.
And if the Angels only move when they're not being observed, how does it make sense for the Statue of Liberty to be one? It's constantly observed. There must be at least one pair of eyes on it all the time for some reason or another, surely?

Wikipedia: "The statue was closed to the public from May until December 1938."
This could be the reason why it was able to move at night. Obviously nobody noticed or cared about its earthquake-like stomping and went to look out of a window to see what was going on outside.

Hated that episode. It was so poorly written and put together. Nothing made sense, too many conveniences
("There's no way to change time!"
"We can do a paradox"
"That's impossible"
"No, it's not, look"
"Oh, they changed time. Well done"),
the Amy and Rory thing at the end was like "Oh, so that just happened. Wait, what exactly happened?" and the Angels, the creatures from one of the scariest, most exciting episode of Dr Who have been turned into nothing more than a cliched, action movie monster

Throbbin, you lovely tumescent Sifter you. Thanks for your contributions and congrats.
BTW, have you ever read the word "tumescent" in a non-sex-related context? I have not.

I had never even heard of "tumescent" before. Looked it up...and I can safely say I think it is strictly a sexual term.

-Yes I did do a photo inverse of your avatar - I couldn't resist - Who's child? Or is that you? You're sure young if it is...:P

That's Rory (my boy). He is now 4 1/2, but he was 2 at the time of the photo.

I am changing the avatar soon - I have another one of him with a blanket draped over his head. I inverted the image, and copy and pasted a lightsaber into the photo. Coming soon...

Once you declare a video * dead you have to wait 48 hours before someone beside the original poster can fix it. If the original poster does not fix it in that time frame then it goes to the Dead Pool. Once it's there there's a link you can click that says "fix video embed code". That is where you can replace the bad one with the good one. Because you had just declared it * dead you wouldn't be able to fix it immediately.

Don't worry; I just fixed it. Thanks anyway!

I wanted to fix this one, but I still can't figure out how to bring them back from the dead. How do you do it?
