another thing about the lyrics:

They sing "Du, du hast, du hast mich.. du hast mich gefragt" which translates to something like "You, you have, you have asked me". But in German the word for "to have" sounds exactly like the word for "to hate": "Du hast" (have) - "Du hasst" (hate).

So by repeating the words "Du.. Du hast.. Du hast mich.." at the beginning of the song it sounds more like "You hate me" instead of "You have asked me".

I hope i was able to explain what is in my opinion the 'gag' of the song.

btw: similarities to the bandname, compare "Rammstein" ("ramm[en]" = to ram, "Stein" = stone) with "Ramstein" (a city in Germany with Europe´s most important US air force base, location of a huge air show disaster where lots of people got killed). The band repeatedly stated that there´s no connection between their name and the air base.

Dark City is a underrated sci-fi classic, which I liked and enjoyed more then The Matrix. This is an excellent music video for the film using Rammstein track Sonne. Also featuring Jack Bauer.

Fundamentalist are the reason I revoked my Catholic religion, I am homophobic, only because I was raised that way. But I have grown out of that fear some what.

A lot of people try to tell me that Rammstein is gay, and they are Nazis as well, and then I show them biographies, and video of Richard Kruspe with his Wife and daughter. Ive been told that the lead singer is gay as well, he is divorced from his wife, and has a daughter as well. Just because people embrace homosexuality does not mean that they are homosexual. It is a big thing in this world, and outlawing it is not going to solve any thing.

This is very childish of people, there is nothing to fear. If you are hit on by a person that is of the same persuasion, take it as a compliment and then politely tell them that you are not interested.

One who does not fear oneself then has no fear of others.
Therefore true people do not fear homosexuality.

Keine Lust means roughly don't feel like it. Its my favorite video by them, they have one the award for best music videos in Europe several times over.

This accident happened long ago, they were performing Heirate mich (marry me) from the Mutter Album, since then i would their stage shows have gotten better, but i wonder sometimes about safety. Till like to set himself on fire, the bassist has a flamethrower face mask, and there even was a tommy gun flame thrower in some of their acts.
