Stick + Power lines + Fire + Giant arc = PROFIT!
Did it suddenly stop because a transformer blew somewhere along the power line?
EMP Cannon Stops Cars Almost Instantly
>> ^Stormsinger:
And how many thousands of dollars does it cost to replace everything burned out by this? Kind of a nasty surprise, if your car happens to get zapped simply by being in line with the target, don't you think?
A friend of mine had a power line fall on top of his newer car (someone crashed into the pole and he was parked into the parking lot next to it.) He took it in and the mechanic said it would cost more than he paid for the car when he bought it brand new to replace the electrical system.
Don't get me wrong, I think this will be a very useful tool; however, I would hate to be in the position of having to prove and then get money from the police department for a new car if they zapped my car by accident.
Giant pyramid floats over Moscow...
Nice effects. If you look at :11, there's a frame where the pyramid is in front of the power-lines that it is so conspicuously behind for the first 10 seconds.
Godless Billboard Moved After Threats
ZOMG! That atheist is TALLER THAN THE POWER LINES!!!
Quickly! We must worship him before the giant crushes us all beneath his stomps!
How not to take the Train
the train would have just gone over the top of her , the bigger risk was from here touching the main power line and grounding the electric through her body.

Ya, I knew what you meant, but I was still surprized that one went to #3.
Like I said before, I'm just pining for Ruby at the moment - I'm thinking a "Health" Channel is what we are needing.... (?)(or something Similar).

Arcing Powerlines Cause Tree Fire & Explosion
This is exactly the reason why you should put all those chunky power lines underground.
Arcing Powerlines Cause Tree Fire & Explosion
Wow, like really slow motion lightning (which also explodes some trees).
This is a good reason to always make underground power lines in urban areas. Where I live the only place with high voltage power lines is the countryside.

No circuit breakers on the power lines?
It appears as load to the grid, so it happily continues to provide power without tripping anything. This page explains it better with a video thats been re-posted to youtube about a hundered times.
Fuses are closer to the customer end (between the transformer and the customer) and disconnect (explode!) just the customer when there is a problem, circuit breakers are back at the substation and would likely attempt to re-close to solve a temporary problem like phase-phase arc.
