I totally agree with you Choggie. I'm an atheist at a Baptist school, and on top of that, I'm a very crude person. I offend people all the time. The comment that was left on my post and the other post did not offend me, but they didn't contribute anything but adolescent name-calling. Suffice it to say that the person in question used racially charged explitives to denigrate people's ethnicity (in this case Muslim) and hobby (in this case marching band). The only point the person proved was that he was incapable of articulating himself in any coherent or point-driven manner. I chose to delete his comments in the original post because, wheras they are not offensive to me, I did not think they were worth reading and having them at the front of SiftTalk made it so his adolescent shenanigans could still be read.

I am not an advocate of censorship. However, I do discriminate against stupidity, the punk got what was coming to him. If you dislike something or somebody, there are better ways of expressing that then calling Muslims "Sand-Niggers" and people in Marching Band "fags" and wishing to God that they would all die.

The University of Michigan Marching Band does an outstanding version of "Temptation".

I was gonna downvote (if I could) but the marching band did the job.

Please guys, Prince didn't even play properly. The screen shot up mid way for his guitar solo, that happened because he wasn't actually playing.

You can (and Prince often does) play notes just on the neck.

It's entirely possible parts of it (especially the marching band accompaniments) were prerecorded, but that's Prince singing and that's Prince playing the guitar, without a doubt.

Well, it's still not as good at the Radiohead vid, and I sympathize with the opinion, but after watching it, and being amused a bit, I figure it's well done enough to override the instinctive downvote urge.

And actually well done enough for an up.
