I too am a patches pal living in Central WA. I emailed Chris back in 2001 or 2002. Still have the email. He told me about his book, which I promptly purchased. I miss him very much and met him as a child on more than 2 occasions. And the Count! Anyone remember the Count?


My favorite characters were Ketchikan the Animal Man and Miss Smith. =o)

Have a great time in Alaska, MG. I spent a few days in southern AK (roundabouts Ketchikan), and it was the nicest place I've ever been. Some of the nicest people too. Fishing, hiking, a couple thousand pictures...

Anyway it was one of the high points of my life so far, and I hope you enjoy yourself.
