Plane Ran Out of Fuel at 41,000 Feet. Here's What Happened.

Interestingly, this plane was still in operation at Air Canada until 2008, and I flew on it many times (there was a little brass plaque near the front entrance). Also interesting, Air Canada has had flat screens on the back of all of their seats since the 90s and of the many shows available for viewing was the show Mayday. So I got to watch the Mayday of the crash on the Gimli Glider, on the Gimli Glider.

Audio quality aside, I think there's something to the closeness of that record store, and the false start on the loop machine that gives me a good, real feeling of being there. But bad enough not to upvote? My, you're discerning!

And it's a shame that fabchannel won't imbed. There's some gold on there.

Andrew Bird deserves better audio quality than this.

Here's a full streamed concert for your enjoyment:

If I had the power to I'd sift it in an instant.

It's okay, Issykitty. I like the "comments" number to get all pumped up so people think there's a really interesting conversation going on inside and thereby watch the video to see what all the hubub is about and, maybe, vote for it. I sure am glad I got my bronze before this 2-day queue thing because I probably would've given up! Thanks for your votes.
