Love Mythbusters, but they screwed this one up. It's not the trajectory so much as the spin on the bullet. When the bullet is spin stabilized it will come down point first--no matter the trajectory.

I think ridicule is the best way to destroy nonsensical groups like the Tea Party. Anyone remember “Clan of the Fiery Cross”, the Superman adventures which mocked the KKK?

Of course, those were broadcast nationally in a time of little choice when it comes to media AND had presidential backing. Can you imagine Obama committing in such a manner to the destruction of the Tea Tards? Ah! Think not.

As we all know, rational argument is wasted on them so the best means of attack is to make them look as stupid as they actually are. Even still, with the media fragmentation of today, they can probably live in their own little fantasy world forever (but hopefully unable to do more damage).
