Don't post "seem to remember"; post clinical trials, or else it's just FUD.
Here ya go. It even cites sources.
I just watched a show a week or so ago, sorry but I don't remember what the show was, it was either Discover Channel, History Channel or PBS. It had segment on obesity, and they showed a study done with mice. The mice were given equal amounts of food, some were containing sugar, others HFCS. The mice that received food with HFCS were very fat while the mice that received sugar looked like normal mice.

Why do gems like this always have such obnoxious Japanese sound tracks?

Get America to care about that creature and you'll see it on the Discover Channel or something. I have no clue. I lol'd at this though, and didn't see it as annoying. (speaking Japanese helps rofl)
AK-47 vs M-16
I've grown to dislike Discover channels weapons programs. They are about as fair and unbiased as Fox news.
In my "Twentieth Century small arms" book, and about everywhere else they say that the M16 got the nickname Mattel 16 (As in the toy corp). The M16 was disliked by the soldiers as it was very unreliable. Nowadays it's just outdated.
And yes the AK47 was built to be reliable and easy to manufacture, just any guerilla leader. The AK47 is an iconic weapon.
9/11: Kevin Barrett outfoxes Hannity & Colmes
Hey, Snake did you see the discover channel documentary a couple of years ago about the construction of the Towers and science behind the collapse? I didn't understand at first how the whole buildings came down like that until I saw this show.
I wish I could explain it and do it justice, but it described how the steel structure holding those floors melted and the floors began to collapse like pancakes. The weight of the floors collapsing flat on top of each other created a cascade effect and it was why they fell straight down like that.
Someone has probably point this out already to the conspiracy folks, and did a better job of it. Not having read this whole thread yet, I don't want to sound like a johnny-come-lately :-P
