Upvote for the sentiment, not the song.

Some games I love to spend time on and work my way through hard (Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry), but usually I don't have the patience any more. And some games I find are simply frustrating on normal and hard, and actually quite fun on easy (Vanquish and Bayonetta for instance).

Edge of Twilight Trailer "Someone Special"

It's missing the logo, but their own website says it's coming for the PC. Nice trailer, dig the art.

Doesn't seem to be an RPG though, it's more of a Devil May Cry type game.. not usually my cup of tea.

"Dante's Inferno" game trailer (in HD)

notarobot says...

The Divine Comedy is one of the best books ever written. I might have expected a game based on the books to have a more paced, problem-solving gameplay/atmosphere rather then devil-may-cry action.

In the books, the main character, Dante, is a poet, not a warrior. He was something of a coward who needed constant encouragement from his guide, Virgil, who saves him from becoming lost in hell more than once, and actually leads him through. (Though to be fair, what living soul wouldn't be frightened of the hell Dante describes?)

But still, the artwork looks imaginary and wonderful. I am interested to see how they adapt the story. It may even be a good game.

Fanboy declares Final Fantasy XIII Is A Traitor!

This guy calls himself an expert in videogames? I'm sorry, but i'm really considering adding this to terrible... in fairness, I maynot downvote this, maybe later on...

Allow me to clarify in my own "video game knowledge"... I don't know if he is aware of this or not, but Sony hasn't had much luck as of late for keeping exclusives... The only thing that Sony has been able to hang onto was just Metal Gear Solid 4, but when you think of Devil may cry 4 and Grand Theft Auto IV these were previous titles that were once known exclusive to the PS3 but then got transfered over to the XBOX 360... Reason? Simple... Just look at the sales, heck just look at the graphs and charts... There are twice as much sales for both Microsoft and Nintendo...

Now then, if you had an exclusive game on a system that was at the bottom of the chain, what would you do?
A) Stay on the boat and hope for the best?
B) Jump ship and go to where profits can be made?
If you picked A, your taking a risky move and hoping that everything will work out for the best...
If you picked B, your giving yourself reassurance that you can rely on the other system to follow through in case one bombs and you also satify the consumer who may that one system, but not the other...

One thing this guy needs to remember is that Square-Enix is a third party company with no Allegiance to the Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony... True Square-Enix did their business with Sony since FFVII, but then as time passes by, a company can either see more potential in another system, or see that by having it available on more systems, it allows the consumer to easily pick what system to play it on and allow for more sales...

Besides, he should be happy that Final Fantasy vs XIII is still exclusive...

Zero Punctuation - Devil May Cry 4

Unfortunately, I love his reviews, and they are funny. But in this case I have to fully disagree. Devil May Cry is some of the most fun I've had in a single player game in awhile. I don't understand his problem with it at all. Much like every hack and slash game out there, yes it can get a bit redundant. But the story is actually good, and so are the cut scenes. DMC is just one of those series you either love or hate.

ok, it's a little bit off-topic, but Die Hard 4.0 was a very decent revival, I don't get what's his problem with it.

No, I'm not laughing at the idea that DH4 was very decent. I'm quoting myself in the theatre, laughing at the "magic hackers" in the movie.
For an action flick, it was amusing and did its job. But if you stop suspending disbelief for too long you find yourself laughing stupidly hard at a bunch of the technical twists/angles.
Also, the ZPR doesn't seem to be as nsfw as it used to be (maybe since the GDC presentation?), but still is a bit. I listened a second time to see if there was much obvious nsfw here, wondering if he was 'cleaning' things up. There was just enough to make it salty enough for a tag though.

Yeah, I love how everything, includine your toaster and sofa, are connected to the internet in that movie. Seriously, like, wtf?

BUt as for the review - Man, I could tell he really hated this game.
