I really like it. Great music and visuals... a bit of a strange mix of music styles at times (I really don't like raggaeton/dancehall. Unmixed Marley all the way) but overall I like it a lot. It starts out light and gets heavier and heavier... I feel like this is a good party mix... start out easy with a mix of styles and then slowly amp it up to 11 and go all out.

New avatar for Choggie... (Sift Talk Post)

choggie says...

Coherence is the mother of confusion-
So happy to know there's a kitty called choggie somewhere-
Way back when, when my ex-was 17 and in high school(performing and visual arts), she had a school chum that made up this name for substitute teachers-The sub would asked if there was anyone not here, that she had not called, and this girl would always say, "Yeah, you forgot Choggie. Choggie Kendall....and she would right his name in her roll......Thanks so much for writing me into all of yours, every sentient needs a valve, stationed between ego and Pineal gland....truth comes through hearing and personal experience, and seldom from reading- Hence, we read not so much fact or fiction, and god knows meaning here on the sift, but a journal of input from folks from many backgrounds and many stages of self-conscious awareness, and, no-doubt, in some cases, the final stages of retrograde then, oblivion.

Go back and read some of the crap you wrote 10 years, 20, years, for some 30 or forty, and in westy's case, hundreds of lifetimes....and then go back to the beginning here, to see how far you have pro, di, or re-gressed in your process...some remain steadfast, unchanging, minimal...(i call them insects) and some are dynamic, vibrant, and creating constantly(i call these women)....and some are town criers for the most banal, and vortextual dogshit sensibilities one will hear or actually believe....(i call these many names.......) this is a journal that would make snoozing cinema, moan-worthy anecdote, and some poor publisher starve to death.....

Tanks for dem props, dem drops, anadem dancehall rockahs!!!

Seeed is a German reggae/dancehall band from Berlin. Founded in 1998 they have recently become quite famous in Germany and surrounding countries. They are the most popular German reggae act besides Cologne's sing-jay Gentleman. Seeed consists of eleven band members, including three singers, a horn section and a DJ. Seeed is famous for their unusual use of horn. They have worked with Cee-Lo Green, Anthony B, Tanya Stephens, General Degree as well as other Jamaican artists and producers. Seeed's lyrics are German, English and Patois. Their biggest hits in the German Sprachraum were Dickes B, Aufsteh'n, Ding and Music Monks.

This video is just all kinds of awesome.
