Bluegrass Cover of "Owner Of A Lonely Heart"
<3 Bluegrass
Del McCoury band is the best, though their covers aren't usually of vastly different genres like this

Grandpa Jones - The Banjo Am The Instrument For Me
Alright this is the last one I swear: Here's stringbean and granpa jones playing together. There are playing one of my favorite folk songs, 'lonesone road blues'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHlCyEPlVRc Grateful dead also played this song but titled it, 'going down the road feeling bad': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpWU990r_Ro
That's all I swear...keep me away, folk and bluegrass is my jam.
Grandpa Jones - The Banjo Am The Instrument For Me
Grandpa jones was a regular on 'Hee Haw'. Like most of the regulars he was a characature representing the 'hillbilly' stereotype. He had many hits including 'pickin time' which was covered by now trendy
jonny cash: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Sz7eUj46aE
Another hillbilly characature from hee haw was stringbean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uOy3WdT3mY
Their music have become staples in the current bluegrass or 'newgrass' as it is sometimes refered. Here's one of my favorites from this generation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrcWTuWwBrI

The VideoSift Pomplamoose Interview (Music Talk Post)
These cats have inspired me-I have all the gear to begin doing a similar thing....call me lazy, call me bitter, call me next year for another interview, persephone.....some folks are simply waiting for the cosmos to kick in....don't really have an excuse anymore not to except for the uncomfortable wiggle of performing live-
Great interview guys-Hey...Could y'all cover a Black Sabbath tune alla, Cardigans??....Love that stuff!
Or some Judas Priest alla Hayseed Dixie...Nothin' funner than bluegrass covers of heavy metal tunes! You have a soft little lilting voice Nataly Dawn...cheers to the both of you.

Come on down to Blues & Roots! The newest channel. :} (Music Talk Post)
Ah excellent. Will you be including bluegrass then? That's roots or derived from it. So I'd expect to find Alison Krauss in this channel??
Most beautiful acoustic guitar you've ever seen
I bet this instrument would sound great doing bluegrass flat picking.
